Sniper Team Novus is based around the idea that a sniper running with a infantry fireteam is in many environments more effective on the Airsoft field than with just a spotter. A fireteam can provide more firepower and different assets that a sniper/spotter team cannot, such as an SSW, DMR, and Medic.
This idea is not completely new, the US Army has started using 6-man sniper teams, and our team is loosely built around that idea. The last part of our name however, Novus, is the Latin word for new, as this idea is somewhat new in airsoft, most airsoft snipers being 'true' snipers. And as often as 'true' sniping is useful in woodland environments, we feel that with the range of airsoft being about 100yds it is hard for a sniper to really hide. And airsoft being fast paced also, a sniper running with a fireteam is more effective, especially in MOUT.
